A school the village built its hopes on
Gangotri English Boarding Secondary School was established in 1992 AD (2049 BS) in Chhireshwornath-7, Hariharpur, Dhanusha — and has grown into a full secondary school serving around 1,166 students.
From 2049 BS to today
What began as a small English-medium boarding school has become one of the area's established institutions: a private, co-educational day school affiliated to the National Examinations Board and approved by the Ministry of Education.
Today the school teaches every stage from Montessori playgroup through Grade 10 (SEE), and offers +2 programmes in Management and Education so students can complete school-level study without leaving home.
